Abstract
This research investigates the consequences of G20 policies on the distribution of investment opportunities among salaried individuals in the Mumbai suburb region. Through a comprehensive analysis, the study aims to discern the extent to which participation in investment markets has evolved since the implementation of G20 policies and explores the factors influencing portfolio diversification among salaried individuals. A total of 270 respondents were surveyed using a structured questionnaire, employing a convenience sampling method. The findings reveal that a significant majority (54.8%) of salaried individuals have actively participated in investment activities following the implementation of G20 policies. Mutual funds and real estate investments emerged as the preferred choices, with stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrencies also demonstrating varying degrees of popularity. The study acknowledges the need for further research to unravel the intricate factors influencing investment decisions and portfolio diversification among salaried individuals, ensuring a nuanced understanding of this dynamic landscape
